Job Overview:
The SAR Product team is seeking an outstanding, self-motivated Software Engineer to contribute to the development of SAR instruments for ground and satellite products. This SW engineer will report to the Product Technical Lead but also manage the appropriate workload for a small team. The successful candidate shall have a demonstrated history of taking initiative in driving SW development, using a combination of validations and tests. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
Your Responsibilities:
- Implement / Integrate new sensors;
- Perform software debugging and implement corrections for detected errors;
- Propose software solutions for product needs;
- Produce interface control documents (ICD)
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of software implementations, algorithms, and processes.
- Experience with space application software, preferably in telecommunications.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years of software development experience;
- Expertise in requirements analysis, solution design, testing, and documentation.
- Knowledge of networking protocols;
- Knowledge of C#, C/C++
- Familiarity with communication protocols;
- Knowledge of git and CI/CD;
- Experience in Hardware instrumentation.
- Knowledge of system performance evaluation, network simulation, and DSP algorithms.
- Good level of English (oral and written);
- Team spirit and good integration skills;
- High sense of responsibility, organization and planning of tasks, and deadline management.
