Job Overview:
Become a key contributor to the future of space communications by joining Tekever Space as a Hardware/Production Engineer or technician on the GAMALINK team.
In this role, you will be instrumental in producing new setups and tools to support the space unit chain of development and business. You will participate in the full producing lifecycle, from initial assembly of the units, electrical and functional validation to the delivery and support of the working. Collaborating with a talented team of engineers, you will contribute to the creation of robust tools, while also producing essential technical documentation.
This position provides a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in the space industry, working on projects that push technological boundaries. You'll be part of a team that values knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
Your Responsibilities:
- Micro Electronic Soldering: Hand-soldering for assembly of new modules. Rework of malfunctioning units
- Semi automatic soldering: Management of a semi-automatic line of electronic assembly and generate documentation to support the operation.
- Procurement: Manage internal stock a ensure the procurement for the needed one.
- Hardware tools development: Design, test and maintain hardware tools needed to support other teams activities.
- Testing and validation: Write unit and validation tests, identify and resolve hardware defects, and participate in quality activities.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Contribute to the full development life cycle from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
- Be prepared to share knowledge and receive feedback.
What We’re Looking For:
- Technical degree or graduated degree in electronics.
- Experience operation tools used for hand soldering
- Experience operating measurement equipment’s like Oscilloscopes, Power supplies,
- Spectrum analyzers
- Experience in analyzing components datasheets
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- A passion for space technology and innovation.
- Language Requirements: Advanced proficiency in Portuguese and English, with proven fluency at the C2 level in both languages;
Nice to have
- 2+ years of soldering experience
- Experience using electronic design tools as Eagle and/or KiCad
- 3D modeling
