About ATLAS: ATLAS, our advanced geospatial intelligence platform, integrates UAV data, external sensors and AI-driven analytics to provide actionable insights. We are looking for a Back-End Developer to help build and enhance the back-end services that power ATLAS, ensuring scalability, security and high performance.

Your Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain and optimize back-end services and APIs.
• Design and implement scalable, secure and high-performance microservices architectures
• Work closely with front-end developers, DevOps engineers and product teams to deliver seamless end-to-end solutions
• Ensure data integrity and efficient processing for real-time and historical geospatial data
• Optimize database queries and structures, ensuring high availability and performance
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints
• Implement unit and integration testing to ensure system reliability
• Contribute to code reviews, ensuring best practices and maintainability
• Participate in Agile/Scrum processes, contributing to sprint planning and retrospectives
• Monitor and troubleshoot performance and security issues, proactively identifying areas for improvement

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of experience in back-end development
• Language Requirements: Advanced proficiency in Portuguese and English, with proven fluency at the C2 level in both languages
• Strong understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript
• Experience building RESTful APIs and working with GraphQL
• Solid experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL)
• Knowledge of authentication and security best practices (OAuth, JWT, API security)
• Experience with Docker and containerized applications
• Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and version control (Git)
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, Agile environment

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with cloud platforms (preferably GCP)
• Knowledge of message queues and event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Kubernetes)
• Exposure to real-time data processing and WebSockets
