The Role:

We take pride in having a positive and assertive attitude and nurturing a collaborative environment. We work with small focused teams where you will have all the leg room you need to be yourself. Right now, we’re looking for an Accounting Technician to join our Finance team in Caldas da Rainha.

 

Your Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of accounting records for supplier invoices (accounts payable) and monthly expenses.
  • Strong knowledge of IVA regulations regarding the handling of invoices from domestic, intra-community, and third-country suppliers;
  • Support in the preparation of information for accounting and/or management control.
  • Ensure the application of internal control and approval standards through an internal workflow authorisation process.
  • Perform the financial close in accordance with the deadlines set by the board, as well as the applicable legislation."

 

Your Profile & Skills to Succeed:

  • Degree in Accounting, Management or similar (not mandatory);
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in similar roles;
  • Analytical skills and attention to detail;
  • Sense of responsibility and organizational skills;
  • Good knowledge of taxation
  • Experience with Microsoft BC (will be valued)
  • Excellent working knowledge in Excel;
  • Teamwork, good communication and agility
  • Good written and verbal communication in English.
